Space Milkshake
These days, in a world where zombies and vampires and the paranormal rule the fantasy world, it’s very hard to find some good, old fashioned sci-fi. Sciene Fiction has taken a back seat to horror and action that even the most traditional sci-fi premises bare little resemblance to what has come before. In this world where Star Trek is now young and hip and Star Wars is now a product of the House of Mouse, is there anything out there that speaks to a long time sci-fi fan and delivers a film that is reminscent of the ones we saw as kids? Fortunately, there is one… and it’s surprisingly a comedy.
Profiles of other Space Milkshake’s characters are to be found on the film’s official web page.

RIGHT. This is gonna be really spoilery guys so if you don’t want to be spoiled, COME OFF THIS POST :D
So, Space Milkshake. I face timed Jocelyn yesterday and told her it was shit. Now that I have sponged everything in that I saw, I actually retract that statement. I think it was so clever. It was basically meant to be shit. Like the shitter it got, the more laughs it got, so I think it was MEANT to be shit if that makes sense? Obviously, because it was a spoof they just completely took the piss out of so many Sci-fi films. The mutated duck was the worst CGI ever, but I am assuming that was on purpose to make it funny, because no film made in the 21st century could have CGI that terrible. SO IT WAS ON PURPOSE AND I WILL STICK TO THIS THEORY. K.
Robin Dunne tries to explain Space Milkshake
There has been quite a fair amount of interest in the upcoming movie Space Milkshake, with not a lot of people being very clear on exactly what the movie is about. However, one of the stars of the movie, Robin Dunne has tried to clear up the confusion but even admitted that he was confused when he first learnt of the project.
Dunne explained, “It was so fun to do, I mean, it’s such a bizarre movie, as you can probably tell by the title. You know, it’s really hard to describe and I have this problem every time I try to describe it to people because people are like ‘What?’ and even when it was described to me at first I was like ‘Huh?’ Basically it’s about these four people that are trapped on a spaceship and this rubber duck morphs to life and becomes a monster and tries to kill everyone.”
He added, “It’s an amazing cast. I roped Amanda Tapping into doing it with me, Kristin Kreuk was great and Billy Boyd. I mean, it was a blast to do and it’s good to do a comedy, I mean a wacky comedy like that was great. It should be out sometime in mid 2012.” You can see Robin Dunne, with Kristin Kreuk, Amanda Tapping and Billy Boyd, when Space Milkshake is released later this year.
